Marine Navigation app for mobile device

Featured Replies

I am looking for an easy to use marine navigation app for use on an iOS or android device (phone or ipad). I have looked at the apps on Google Play and the iTunes store, but I can't see any marine charts available for Phuket waters. I see the US, Britain, Africa and New Zealand but no Thailand. Is anyone using an marine app for mobile and where did you get the charts? Thanks for the help.

Navionics have one think Thailand is covered in either the africa or australian one. Or it might be all the same

Thanks....looking at Navionics now. Pulled from Google Play because of crashes with A 4.4, but still up on iOS. Looks like Thailand is included with Africa.

navionics is what i use on ipad, if you go to central across from the apple store the guys selling ipads gave it to me free of charge but as its not registered in my name i cant get the updates, though works fine for the last two years.

Use GPS and any such Android App purely as back-up.
