sorbormoryorhor
An Englishman will always stand proud in foreign realms...as does the Scotsman. Side by side we make a unique brotherhood...forged by conflict. As a lonely adventuring Englishman, there is no greater joy than meeting a lonely adventuring Scotsman. We share ancient banter, drinks me under the table then helps me to my room. A gentleman of the first order. Despite the home politics....being rather English, a Scotsman will always be a respected brother in my family.

CharlieH
All the Scots I have ever met were totally independant anyway! Best described in my mind as "rough diamonds", heart of gold if handled right, violent in the extreme if crossed. I knew a Scots English teacher once, always made me smile to see a chinese student talking English with a broad scots accent. However these vocal bunch don't make up the majority of the electorate. I wouldn't like to second guess which way anyone might vote in this poll....my suspicion is many are undecided....I know I am. Maybe play braveheart over and over again.. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app Have to agree with that, the notion that Scotland could be improved by going independant is interesting, But most of the people I know, do not think it is in anyway practicable, we have been integrated for hundreds of years. The thought that the UK could be split in the timescale they (SNP) a proposing without a multitude of problems is just not credible. They could not previously even build the scottish parliament in that timescale. It is clear that the SNPs idea of "people will be better off " is that they will have more per capita initially to administer, however well intentioned by them, I've a nasty feeling the individual/family shall not be better off. So I think the vote will be NO if people think it through. But as you say if they loop braveheart the day before the vote it may be close. Maximum devolution is the way ahead. MAJIC
A Marriage born of necessity, which has seen us through many separations, and reconciliations, secretly we are a fatal attraction, which needs to learn the meaning of true Independance, and not Westminster Bailouts, and support for our friends north of the border. But should it not work out.and should they decide to go it alone, that's fine but don't come back searching for owed, debts as Salmond will most certainly do, and no doubt tell the Scottish people (when he has ballsed up) Good Luck under the possible (but doubtful) new Leadership under the Arch Slug, you will need it!,under the leadership of a man, who thinks that supporting your future developement ,consists of Donald Trump Golf Courses,Offshore Wind Turbines,if that's the best idea from (Salmond) it's goodnight Scotland. And he should declare his ambition and declare his interests to be the first PM or President of a totally independant Scotland! I think most of the Scottish people know, when they see an ambitious man, not to be trusted!
