Anyone know the procedures and costs involved for a Thai crossing at Chong Mek holding a Thai passport? Photocopies, photos, costs, etc....

Just need the passport. At the Laos immigration my wife had to pay 100 baht to get passport stamped, and 50 baht when leaving.

Unless you will be staying more than the 3 days allowed with a border pass, then getting a pass and using this is less hassle and cheaper.

Costs 50 baht. Can get the border pass at Big C in Ubon before you go to Chong Mek.
