The first link is a little, how can I say it, Pentaxy. The second is useful, but because of flange distances I think there are a wider selection of lenses that you can stick on an M43 (i.e. almost anything).

For a while I had an obsession with a thread of GETDPI titled "photographing your bokeh. It's now up to 103 pages http://www.getdpi.com/forum/4-3rds-cameras/10029-photographing-your-bokeh-103.html

I have stopped visiting because I would see these amazing photos, and before I could stop myself I was on eBay purchasing all manner of obscurity. Most were cheap though, especially some of the C-mount lenses which were designed for security cameras and had average IQ but extreme bokeh. Then there was an Angenieux....

It's a filthy obsession.

LBA's very dangerous. This A7 thing is likely to cause many personal bankruptcies, I'm serious.

A couple of years back I got the Zenit Jupiter 11A and a Helios 44M-4 and CZJ DDR 50/1.8 Electric and CZJ DDR 135/3.5. And stopped.

Do fancy a Tair-11A, but although the flange distance is correct for use on the K-series bodies I don't like M42 adapters at all, so I stuck with K-mount lenses.

This was all down to you by the way when you educated me in the art of the vintage lens on modern body once. You sod.

I'm sorry.... If it's any consolation, you are not the only one whose life has been ruined due to my futile enthusiasms.

Think I'll send you my 11A in disgust. You could a lot more with it.

Several of my firework images turned out being a bit abstract from last night... I should have used the tripod, I did have with me, but did not set up! blink.png !

I like the IR converted digital cameras. Produce stuff like this (not my work) . . . .

Any idea where I can get a conversion done in Thailand? I have a Panasonic GF1 that is pleading with me to be operated on.

I was gonna ask you.

I only know where to find Big Camera opposite the checkouts at Big C.

I've found converted Pentax K-01's on ebay. But then I've also found some Hello Kitty handbags which are about the same thing.

I reckon I could do it myself. I have a hammer.

Have a Google about. I looked into this a while back and people have done do it yourself IR filter removal.

Scary mind.

Looks pleasing to me ... not sure if look so good when posted.

I was sort of doddling and thought this looks like a LP record cover. So invented Mango Pat ... No idea where I got that from. Embarrassing meself publishing this. Probably will look crap when beer goggles not on. Girl was/is Pattaya girl in case she looks falang and thought off topic.

I apologise that this photo is not mine and maybe in the wrong thread but could someone please tell me how is this done.Is it time lapse that give the clouds this shape ?

e2clSOU.jpg

Probably stating the obvious ... but undoubtably this is done by a Photoshop expert. Layers used to combine photos. Weird cloud effect might not even be just clouds originally. Perhaps sea and cloud pix merged. Very clever.

I have tried getting my head round Photoshop. I am too thick. But only used knock off copies with no manual and not even convinced the knock off was working correctly, so had to poke and hope.

On line tutor pages seen on online photo magazines but they also not easy to understand.

There is a famous multi storey shopping centre in BKK that sells copies of software cheap. Thats where I got mine. So famous I have forgotten name ...

I need a Muppets Guide .... turn on computer, open software ... press this, do that. They assume you have a brain.

Softare costs hundred pound plus. I also dont understand the difference between Photoshop and Lightroom either. Which is better? Both Adobe products I think. Why do they have 2 products ....

There is a photography web site owner and blogeer living in my condo complex. I plan to hassle him to enlighten me.

We're both straw sucking retards from the West Country. How are we supposed to figure out Photoshop?

Watch this space, now you have thrown down the gauntlet. I am fed up with poke and hope ... Your gonna be soooo impressd. Save your "likes" up.

Now ... Photoshop or Lightroom ....

:angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::unsure::unsure::unsure:

Both.

But get Lightroom 5 first.

Lightroom is all you will need for a year. It's also not expensive.

We're all a bunch of ...............................smile.pngblink.png

Oilinki

Top pic in my humble opinion best in this thread so far ... not many up to that standard. Raises the bar.
