Life insurance

Featured Replies

Hello

have you ever open a life insurance for you and you thai girlfriend/ wife in Thailand, on the same basis than the ones in Europe ?

I have one already in my home country, but I am not very confident that they will transfer money to my GF in case of my death

I want to be sure money will go to my GF ( I am not worried, she won't put poison in my food for this laugh.png , I speak of natural dispariton or accident )

I mean life insurance with interest every year . Banks have some ( I am at SCB ) ?

Thanks smile.png

I put my wife as the nominee in my will in Australia to ensure she was looked after. Another important aspect though is to make sure that if you become incapacitated or can't function that she has your power of attorney or whatever it is in your home country to act on your behalf.

Thank you for your answer; I have too a life insurance in my home country, but in this post , I speak about to have one in Thailand, because I am not sure that for my girl friend it will be easy to do all the process; it's more convenient if it's done in Thailand and in Thai language.

Yes, let's move this over to the insurance sub forum.

Topic Moved.

Whoever is named as the Beneficiary on the policy is the one who will be paid out but we would also suggest that the policy is listed in your Will together with the Beneficiary
