Phuket: Police search for killer from early morning shooting
Local police and rescue volunteers from the Phuket Ruamjai Foundation went to the scene in Soi Suksan 1 at 2.30 am and found a Spatha knife next to the body of Mr. Sakon Krommuang, of Trang, who had three gunshot wounds to his chest.

Mr. Worawut Phetsud, 28, originally from Nakhon Sri Thammarat [believed to be Mr. Sakon’s friend] was aslo shot in the stomach.

Police learned that Mr. Pragorn Phonyiam, 43, originally from Roi-Et, was in a dispute with Mr. Sakon in which he was stabbed in chest and face but is believed to still be alive.

According to the investigation, Mr. Sakon and Mr. Worawud went to drink at a Karaoke bar in the Rawai area. While they were riding a motorbike on Soi Suksan 1 an argument erupted over the loud barking of Mr. Pragorn's dog.

Mr. Sakon used the Spatha knife to stab into Mr. Pragorn’s chest. That was when Mr. Pragorn brandished a gun to shoot Mr. Sakon and Mr. Worawud before fleeing the scene.

Police officers are now searching for Mr. Pragorn.

This near constant stream of murder, rape, robbery, etc from Phuket is really starting to bother me. Pattaya has not stepped up to the plate! If they don't take care, some will start comparing Pattaya to Singapore.

A dog barks, the owner get stabbed, the stabber gets shot.

What a world we live in

It happens the world over. Alcohol may have been a contributing factor? A Sad and senseless death. Too bad they didn't practice the teachings of the Budda.

Rest in Peace dear Man.
