Australian Visas granted in 15 minutes ....Impressed

Bit of Info.

Been quite a few years since I visited some old relatives down in Sydney but sitting here thinking about it decided that maybe time for another jolly early next year so quick look at Australia Immigration Web to check out the latest VISA requirements proved most impressive.

Last time I had to trail down to the London Office and spend the usual time mucking around but now it can all be done ON Line and with UK/EU passports the E Visitor (subclass 651) when granted is valid for 12 months for visits of up to 3 months at a time and is FREE.......well I never ...Well done Auz....

Took me about 15 Minutes from start to finish and this time also got Khun Wifee one as well.

Now to arrange a flight....G'Day and all that...

Your comparing apples and oranges comparing the Uk and Thailand getting a visa to Australia mate. I dare sa the Uk not only as part of the Commonwealth, your Queen is our Queen, and probably classed as low risk catergory, is a shoe in for holiday visas. Same if we holiday Thailand, its no issue.

These days the internet is used more widespread for various govt depts. I register my car on my phone for example and pay bills.
