December 27, 201312 yr Has anyone bought or ridden a bicycle from Coyote? I saw a few around Chiang Mai earlier in the year but haven't found any info about them. I think it's a Thai company, not sure though. They had a website but I can't find it right now.
December 27, 201312 yr They have quite a few nice models, which one were you after? Pretty sure they're American btw. Edited December 27, 201312 yr by Deserted
December 29, 201312 yr Author Not really sure, just looking for a steel road frame, heavy duty tires, 10 speed downtube(?) shifters. Thinking of picking up a bike, thought something SE Asian would be cool, since I'm living here Edited December 29, 201312 yr by demonietto
December 31, 201312 yr Coyote cycles built by Meghna Cycle Industries in Bangladesh. I know nothing about their quality etc. Downtube shifters: these look cool [imho] but a little bit rare to find a production bike using them since the 90's. The Fuji Stratos R is one nice exception. Some smaller outfits still produce them, but you have to be aware that the indexing ratio may not be compatible with modern derailers. The Bicycle School in BKK could do you something custom locally in steel.
