Indeed, the weather in Thailand is wonderful for 9 months of the year, imo. The rainy season, May to October/ early November is wonderfully verdant green upcountry with thousands of frogs croaking in the rice fields at night with fireflies flitting here and there. The cool season, December to February, is never really cold unless you're in the mountains. Ponds, lakes and waterfalls are full, great for swimming and sightseeing. The sky upcountry is full of stars with no clouds, great for a bonfire, playing a guitar and drinking a beer or two. March to mid- May is tough, humid and hot, relieved by the occasional thunderstorm.
