OMGImInPattaya
Eating pizzas in thailand thats wrong. Wheres so much delicious healthy foods... Yeh from time to time is ok. But not like its ur main thing... mataleoFor a long time I thought so too. Then I learned about fast carbs, MSG, pesticides, benzoic acid, aflatoxins, nitrates etc.But I still eat it Exactly, most Thai food tastes good because it's loaded with MSG and cooked in palm oil! maphraw
The Cafe Le Mars in south Jomthien on beach road, before Metro Condo, has reasonable good pizza. After trying numerous pizzas in Pattaya, it's the only place I go back to. Will try some of the places mentioned above. If you want to avoid bad pizza, don't ever order it from any of the places in Ban Chang, Rayong. (The Offshore and Camel in Ban Chang used to have excellent pizza, I mean really good, but it has gone way downhill -- mediocre at best.

jwdub
Pizza Italy has now moved from the bottom of Soi Excyte to one of the newish Sois off Soi BuaKhao, the one with Asia Backpackers on the corner. I'd be interested in a little more detail in the whereabouts of the new location. I have a friend who visits frequently and he loved that place. I noticed a couple of weeks ago it wasnt at the Soi Excite location anymore when I went to check out Brooklyn's . I appreciate it if possible
Jingthing
That's easy. Going south from Pattaya Klang you'll get to the new HOSPITAL on your left. A little bit after that on your right is the Asia Backpackers hostel on your right, on the corner. DOWN that soi is the new pizza joint. There's a sign. Can't miss it. Well sure and everyone's entitled to their own so not really that useful for finding one's own favorite pizzas (or anything else requiring a subjective opinion). I guess it could be useful for weeding out the truly awful places but Thai libel and defamation laws make that difficult. I've tried about half the places on the list and I concur that they make tasty pizzas IMO.

Summarised so useful, e.g. can keep on your mobile phone. Ok, I'll make it bigger for you. I don't see Pan Pan in Jomtien in the list. I consider their pizzas quite good. They are Euro thin crust variety from a wood fired oven. The homemade ice creams are a treat for dessert as well. I'm specifically referring to the original Jomtien location; I've not eaten at their Central Mall or Beach Road outlets. Speaking of Beach Road, this reminds me I also like the pizzas at the German Hoft Beer Haus at the foot of soi Yamoto. I'm particularly fond of their sauceless bacon pizza. Just get in and out before 8, when that crazy farang dude starts to sing
WitawatWatawit
Here's two on the darkside. Pizzas R Us - mainly home delivery - its brochure advertises itself as "world class". A bit of wishful thinking there, but I like them. Thin crust, nice enough sauce base (for troglodytes like myself) and very good toppings. Has the usual range - margarita, Hawaiian, pepperoni, chicken special, vegetarian, pork deluxe, anchovies, plus the usual extra toppings. Also has salads (not bad, generous proportions). Spaghetti, side orders (garlic bread, spring rolls, onion rings etc). Does 5 types of french fries - standard, with curry sauce, gravy, cheese or beans. Also does burgers (but I haven't tried those yet). Also does baked potatoes (again, haven't tried). Up Khao Talo on the right side, before the market. Not really an eat-in place, altho you can. Delivery 24 hours. Can't give you prices as my brochure is out of date, but they're reasonable. I'm no conny soir, but I prefer their pizzas over most over here. Zucco - been open only a few months. Up Khao Noi on the left, about 1km. Eat in or take away - quite a nice place. Opens at 4pm to midnight (I think). Can't give you any detail as per above as I only have a business card from them - no brochure. Do a google for zucco pizza pattaya - there's some info around, but no website that I can see. Only had one pizza from them (take away), so my info is sketchy. It barely passed muster, but I will give it another go next week with a sit-down meal and see what's on the menu. That's about all in this part of the darkside. Unless I missed something. Wit.
brucetefl
Its not in Pattaya but I strongly recommend Lucky's Kitchen in Ban Phe. https://www.facebook.com/luckyskitchenbanphe Wood fired oven and very Italian thin crust cooked at high temperatures. Of course, as has been mentioned elsewhere on this thread, there are a lot of different pizzas. I would love to have some Chicago style on occasion. OMGImInPattaya
Pizza Company is currently running their two-for-one promo. The size has to be the same but the pies can be different (charged for the more expensive pie).

moonseeker
Well, I would have never thought I would post about pizza. But here we go: I have been a regular for many years at a certain large (as in "big") Pizza Restaurant in Naklua, despite the Italian owner not once greeting or thanking me and my friends during all these years. The pizza I considered mostly very good so far. About 3 weeks back we - a group of 4 - went there and we felt the fillings hardly covered the dough anymore, but tasted good still. Yesterday we went there and we must say, we had one of the lousiest pizzas ever. The same girl at the wood oven, as always. All 3 pizzas had a very sweet taste, as if the dough was made with sugar added. There was hardly any cheese on all 3 pizzas and the usual seasoned and good tasting tomato base tasted completely bland. We did not complain, as the owner was not around, but are now looking for a new place with good pizza in Central Pattaya. Any hints where to have our next pizza? And agreed with prior posts, Casa Rizzi does serve good pizzas. Unfortunately the atmosphere is a bit strange with the place mostly empty, probably due to it's location. But staff are nice and friendly, always. Thank you all. MS> Edited June 9, 2014 by moonseeker
giddyup
I had a home delivered pizza from the Pizza Company a few months back, and because they took over an hour to deliver they gave me credit for a free one. I had a look on their website and ordered one called Chicken Tree in (whatever that means), and it was bloody nice! Heaps of chicken and mozarella, mushrooms etc, I would definitely have it again. SirPaul
AS we move into 2016 I feel that all this would need to start again so it is not worth continuing here. The problem with chats about places in Pattaya, is that the time span is short as new places come and old go. Also, place we know well are open to change.
