Truck park Phuket

Featured Replies

Hi,

Several years ago a guy I met here in Phuket who told me he was moving up to Issan with his G/F where he intended to build a house.

He told me that there was a secured, Truck park in or near Phuket town where truckers could park up and safely leave their trucks.

He told me that it was relatively easy to go there and find a truck going back up north empty and for a reasonable fee would transport a load for you to the destination you wanted, in his case all the household stuff he had bought over the years, ie beds, chairs, washing machines etc to Issan..

I never saw the guy again so I don’t know if he managed to shift his stuff or whether he was just spinning me a yarn but I want to know if anybody here knows of this place or even better actually transported stuff this way or if it is was just a guy talking nonsense.

In the not too distant future I want to transport a load of stuff up north and if anybody has had experience of this or knows the best way of going about it then I would very much like to hear from them.

Never seen nor heard of one. Does not mean it isn't there, but will ask around.

Agree - never seen or heard of any truck park here in Phuket. But hey that's not something I would know about.

If you cant find this place , not that ive heard of it either.
