Visa application in Bali.. do I need air ticket out of Thailand?

Featured Replies

I'm off to Bali in a few days. I'd like to get a Thai visa there. I've read online that I need proof of flight out of Thailand, but also read I didn't need this.

So, anyone know for sure?

If so, what's the cheapest airfare out of Thailand?

Cheers

For a 3 entry visa they want to see a ticket out of the country on any date during the 6 months visa will be valid for.

I don't recall any reports about requirements for a 1 or 2 entry visa.

Fella I know went down there mid December and could only get a single, he was told that they no longer issue 3 entry visas. Could have just been a glitch but he did have lots of supporting documents including a flight into Thailand along with a flight out less than 60 days later. Could be that he was just unlucky, impolite or something.

I wonder if the OP would be kind enough to do a report as the last one is 8 months old.
