Access to Don Mueang

Hi All,

I note that the protestors will occupy sites near Chatuchak and Din Daeng. Will that include the Don Mueang toll-way? As such, will it affect access to the airport (once you get onto the toll way from the city)?

Sorry my crystal ball's a bit cloudy.

Odds are good you'll be able to get there, but if you have a time-critical appointment (like a flight out?) then I'd suggest allocating at least 4x the usual travel time, you may end up needing to walk the last few km.

Thanks Wym. My flight is Sunday - so I'm hoping the circus won't start until the scheduled Monday, but TIT..... so I suppose early is better than late!!!

I used to take the train up there, platform right across the road, accessed via the "skywalk" to the attached hotel, most likely still operating?
