Democrats to charge PM Yingluck with election fraud

BANGKOK, Jan 13 The Democrat Party is compiling evidence to file charges against caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra for cheating in the general election, according to its executive.

Satit Pitutacha, Democrat deputy leader, said Ms Yingluck has been using state resources in visiting people an act in breach of the Election Law and Constitution.

He said the Democrat Party has sufficient witnesses and evidence to take legal action against Ms Yingluck the first candidate in the Pheu Thai party list, already registered for the February 2 snap poll.

He said the petition will be formally lodged with the Election Commission tomorrow.

Mr Satit claimed that ballots for party-list MPs will possibly be printed at higher volume than 48 million eligible voters countrywide.

Weve learned that the paper in stock will be good for 68 million ballots. This must be thoroughly investigated, he said. (MCOT online news)

With all due respect for the citizens of Thailand, i don't think the country is ready yet for a chosen Government. The people who run the country these years were only interested in their own thing and disregarding the peoples need. Show to the outside world how big and strong Thailand is, but forget their home soil. Sad but i think they have to start on 0 again and listen to the people. And this means all people and not a majority.
