Locked out of wifi network, advice please.

Hi, I would appreciate some advice from one of you computer experts please.

I have an Acer Desktop which has suddenly locked me out of my Wi-Fi Network.

It was working fine and noting has changed apart from the computers auto updates.

The Wi-Fi modem is working fine, iPad & Phone ok, I can hotspot the desk top through the Wi-Fi via the iPhone.

I have unplugged all equipment to reboot, no success.

I have gone to a previous system restore where I know it was working, no success.

I have turned off the fire wall, no success.

That is the extent of my knowledge of computer repairs, any suggestions or advice will be gratefully received.post-155902-0-82339000-1389766393_thumb.post-155902-0-01926700-1389766411_thumb.post-155902-0-45046700-1389766431_thumb.

Unsure, but a cleanup (delete all) of the WiFi profiles might help.

I found some hint, that a change of the router or duplicate names might be related to the problem.

Read this (for Win7):

Of course you need to be sure about your Wifi password/key, as you will have to reenter it after the process done.
