Just back from local Lotus where I saw 2 absolutely stunning Russian women. Not working girls as had hubbies/ boyfriends in tow and one even had a kid with.

As far as I am concerned they can keep on coming, great eye candy esp. when compared to your average Brit or Aussie "buffalo" that frequents these shores.

The Russian girls always have their mother in tow. More so than Thais.

There's a lot of myths about Russians on these message boards. A lot of stereotypes. Most of it stems from the language barrier, or at least perceived language barrier. Its hard to know which ones are tourists, and which ones work here. Most of the ones who work here are a lot better at english, than we are at russian, because it is also their method of working/communicating with nationals of Thailand. Having the opportunity to know some of these folks I've been able to determine that in the modern age, most of us are pretty much the same. They are no different from other human beings in what they desire and 99 percent of the ones I've met have been very similar (language aside) from my north american background. You'll find some bad apples, same as yours or my homeland.

As for the women, money/stability talks in every nation of the world, which would explain your perception of their coupling dynamics. Or maybe they are more open minded and concerned on whats inside? As far as the local community is concerned there's more than enough "non-working" girls, Ive met tons, they're all nice, and are looking to be treated with respect like any other.

On another note, working with Russian customers, I noticed often with couples that the guy speaks almost zilch English, but the lady a lot more. When Pjotr is drinking Vodka with his friends, Natasha is doing something more useful with her time: She is learning English.

The men are also very good looking, seem to tan, too and not go bright pink. Sans the all too typical Thai sexpat beer gut and hepa-tattoos. I note they seem to prefer Caucasians as partners. Ones I've spoken to on the subject find the Thai women rather silly and pretty much obvious gold- diggers. They have saved my business the last year and don't bat at eye at the rather pricey service I offer.

I do have to say, these ruskies are stunning.

For the past week I have been in Patong doing some lessons for a private Russian on his holiday.

While sitting in my car, waiting for teaching time, these girls just float by my eyes. Some are really cute.

Tattoos have become mainstream, nowadays also God fearing law abiding youngsters are getting themselves tattooed. Gone is the association with outlaw motorcycle gangs and people who have been in jail. I used to be put off by women sporting tattoos, but now not so much anymore.
