Fishing Trip- Kaeng Krachan, Fri 14th Feb- Sun 16th Feb

Featured Replies

Hi Everybody,

I'm looking at putting together a fishing trip over the long weekend that's coming up in February from the 14th Feb- 16th Feb.

I'm hoping to get around 6-10 people and organising a van to take and fetch us from the venue at Kaeng Krachan National Park. We can then get boats to take us out during the day and hopefully get some nice Chado and Jungle Perch.

Costs will vary depending on how many people come but I'd expect for the 2 nights and 2 and a half days fishing around THB6000.00 per person excluding food and drinks.

If anybody is interested, please could you send me a message and I'll let you know within the week if the trip will go ahead and I can confirm costs.

Thanks,

Nick

I do not know if I would be interested but it would be very helpful if you would include your departure point, it might help you get more replies. After posting this I noticed you it was in Pattaya, sorry. And I didn't have an option to delete it.

Can you fish in the lake of Kaeng Krachan now?

Last time I was there they had no fishing signs posted.

I stand corrected.

I have just checked on Google and it appears that you are allowed to fish in Kaeng Krachan lake.

The last time I was there was a camping trip with my boys for the New Year holidays of 2012/2013 and no fishing signs were posted around the lake but as the camp site was jam packed maybe these were temporary signs to prevent the lake being over fished during the busy holiday period.

Hope that you have a successful trip.

Please write up a report of your trip in the fishing forum so that myself and others will know how the fishing is there.thumbsup.gif.pagespeed.ce.dtxKiAJ9C7.gif
