Hi,

I am looking a for a swimming pool that is big enough to do laps. 25m at least should be fine.

I live in Kata and i need to go there 3-4 times a week.

Do you know one affordable and around Chalong?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I know this swimming pool. I do scuba diving lessons there. But i find it too small for laps.

I heard some people say there is a big one in Chalong but can't find where.

I also read this topic but it is 3 years old now so i thought some people had other infos.

if you know one 25m at least, please let me know.

Thanks.

There is a fairly large pool in Moo Baan Chong Thom Thani off Kwang road. I think it would be about 25m - there is a swimming club that operates there in the afternoons.

Nice atmosphere, if you prefer a quiet area, in the early mornings are best. From 8am.

Is it clean?

Btw, its two more in this area, one is the previously Kissalai sportsclub which I now think some Koreans manage and I don't know if its open for public anymore and then at Phuket Home Country club, both with 25 m pools. However the water quality in the latter is a bit up and down.

I need an alternative because as said the water quality in the one above not always are up to standard and for now keep me doing open water swimming which is great in the high season but it not last forever.
