January 27, 201412 yr Hi I need some advise in reagrds to the Re-entry permit. I am working in Bangkok from past 7 years and My son who is 6 month world came to Bangkok on Non ) Visa couple of days ago and have a stamp on Airport immigration for 3 months but dies to some work I need to go out of Bangkok for 1 week before I can apply for 1 year visa for him. IS it possible to get the Re-entry permit for him? If possible where should I go? Can I go to Chamchuri Square as all my visa work is done. Please Advice. Thanks
January 27, 201412 yr You can get a re-entry permit for the 90 entry without a problem. They should do it at the one stop for you since that is where you get your extensions done. I suggest you take his birth certificate (plus copy) along. They might even do his dependent extension early to save you another trip later.
January 27, 201412 yr Yes, you can get a re-entry permit for him. You could pply at Chamchuri square, (not sure if they do) or apply at the airport before going truogh immirgation but after having checked in and receiving your boarding pass.
January 27, 201412 yr Author Thanks for the Reply The Airport is risky as we already had the boarding pass so there is no way we can return back. Is Chamchuri Square open now a days? i mean as the protest are going on around that area ...
January 27, 201412 yr It is open. Airport is not risky for getting a re-entry permit. Both airports in Bangkok have desks open 24/7. Getting a re-entry permit for a visa entry is normal procedure and will not be a problem to get.
