What happened to Nok Air. Still in business?

Are they OK?

They don't answer the phone.
I can't contact them online.

Their website doesn't work properly. Message that it is down.

Emails to the Reservations Department come back as un-delivered.

Have they gone out of business, or are they in trouble?

I have always liked this airline, but it is worrying.

This is what happens when a company is about to go bankrupt.

Haven't heard anything, doubt that major-shareholder TG would let them fold, perhaps the communication-problems are related to the troubles in BKK ?

Just been on their website , went through all the motions to book a flight no dramas.

I spent a few hours at Don Muang ( DMK) this morning waiting for a flight. Nok Air check-in counters full of people, flights landing and taking off as usual.

Nok Air ticketing counter very busy.

So I guess they are doing good except on the phone lines.

Are you sure you are using the genuine NOK website? If you go through GOOGLE, there are some look-alike sites that are really scam booking agents; make sure you use NOKAIR.COM The site just came up for me just fine. I'm in Bangkok on TRUE using Chrome.

I booked two separate flights on the official Nok Air website and it works fine. My guess is you RE using a copy site. You need to do a VIRUS check afterwards just to make sure you haven't caught one!

I've used Nok Air from Phitsanulok to Phuket via Don Muang return and the flight enquiries, ticketing, flights and comms were fine. This was in the last few weeks.

I saved their website to my favourites and it works fine. I even joined their Frequent Flier Club online. I have Apple products and therefore used Safari.

They have a national phone number (1318) like KFC and Pizza Company and this takes you directly through to their enquiries and booking centre.

Good luck.

100% completely fine!!!

I called BOTH numbers for NOK air on my phone,, and both are fine.. I spoke to a Call Centre representative.

she said they have NOT closed during the protests.

she said they are open EVERY DAY from 6am to midnight !!!!

the phone line was COMPLETELY CLEAR and it took less than 1 or 2 mins to navigate the phone system and get through to reservations.

and the website also works completely fine too.

what phone number were you dialing:

I phoned both the national and bkk numbers:

Bangkok Call Centre: 02 900 9955

National Phone Number: 1318

you must have a bad internet connection and maybe called AFTER MIDNIGHT? or bad phone signal wherever you are.

Geez! Don't scare me like. I've booked a Nok ticket for my gf to come visit me tomorrow. Did the booking yesterday, and it went smoothly. Using Firefox.

You are going to the old web site which is Nok Mini.com. Also you are not reading what it says immediately below book your flight, it clearly points you to click on www.nokair.com. I have just been to Buriram and back and no problem with booking. Also the service was very good since they also rang me to tell me the flight had been delayed by 2 hours and also to confirm the flight. Also I got SMS messages.

Try using IE instead of Chrome,or Safari.Or use another computer.Nok Air website is ok

First time in my whole life that I see someone who advises INTERNET EXPLORER, is it a joke ? hahahaha...

The only problem is the OP internet connection when he tried to visit the website.

Another plug

Wife won two rt bkk-cnx-bkk tickets (voucher) on Nok, raffle at work. Can be booked into May 14. Anyone interested, drop me pm on what you are willing to pay. We can set it up in person and firward confirm email to you. must be rt and must be two although a single could fly 2x possibly, maybe.

We are not keen on CM. They wont let us change to Krabi.

The OP (not me !) was reporting difficulty a couple-of-days ago, not today. wai2.gif
