Rent a scooter near Phuket airport

Featured Replies

Does anyone know about renting a scooter near Phuket airport? Walking distance would be great, obviously, but not just that. I could find only one very old thread about the subject on this forum (with only one reply with few information) so I hope to get fresh, complete information!

I also searched the web but nothing. Is that possible? Maybe the taxi mob doesn't allow it? Anyone saw a shop on the way?

Yes, I (my ex) rents out Scooters from her hotel. Send me a PM

Renting a moped near the airport is a great idea for someone travelling alone and with just hand luggage. Would save a little cash - 1400thb for the two taxi rides but the ride would be a little rough all the way to Patong town.

Actually when I arrived, I took a taxi and while heading home I had a look on the street: no rent a bike in a range of 2 or more kms. In any case, I got an offer from someone willing to bring the scooter at the airport and rent it to me for 300 baht per day. But I usually pay 100 (I know, less than the usual 200 baht of short term/low season), so it's been more convenient for me to take the taxi to Kamala and then rent from my usual shop. Way cheaper than 300 baht per day!

You're right, why a cheap taxi when there is the limousine service! blink.png
