Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a Thai, Party leader, with an inspiration to become PM.

God help us.

Well I would prefer him 1000 times before any other Shinawatra....At least he has something like a mafia style honor....

Brawl with the protesters....but we won't need the police......A Shinawatra would sue them for 1 wrong word.....They opened 500 law suits against Sondhi only for his speeches....

As Chuvit is the only one who worked himself in an open market and is surely 1000 % smarter than the current PM.

A bit too mafia.....His bulldozing of the shops on his property on Sukumvit in the middle of the night was

pretty pathetic, but I guess appropriate if you feel you are a powerful mafia don.

Hahaha yes he has been strangely silent during the protests. Guess there has not been any

police owned casinos to shut down... :-) Also strange he would seek confrontation.

Guess he is not aware of the old saying " the enemy of my enemy is my friend".

By silent do you mean vocal?

Both rejecting Sutheps request for him to join and urging people to go vote?

"After the brawl, Chuwit returned home without voting. He said he would not file a complaint with police."

He won't file a complaint?

Just a thought why...maybe from the OP

"Rak Prathet Thai party leader Chuwit Kamolvisit and his guards engaged in a brawl"

"Chuwit was seen on Channel 9 head-locking a man and repeatedly hitting him."

Thailand: The HUB of Shenanigans

At least Chuwit is entertaining !!!!! Is he still a MP, he seems to have been quiet on his Anti Corruption Campaign for the last 6 months?

Chuwit is a dangerous, violent, low life scumbag pimp. I find him scary, not entertaining at all.

Suthep tried to get him to join Suthep's PDRC thugs.

He's a nice man, and you just want to demonize him for propaganda, but it doesn't work.

I don't need to demonise him. His past alone does that.

P.S. the truth is not propaganda.

Yes, this undemocratic scum, blew a whistle at him.

he attacked him and he fought back this is another of your 'blind and cannot see' posts

READ:

"Chuvit was walking to the polling station from his home in Soi Ratchadapisek 3 when a man dressed in black and with a whistle bearing the colours of the national flag charged at him, striking him on the head"

He's a gangster but at least he's not pretending he isn't like the government or the PDRC leaders. And also the leaders of the above are all talk and no balls when they say they'll lead their front lines. Chuwit didnt take no crap!

I am a bit confused......Why in the world is he encouraging people to go vote , when in essence

only YIngluck's name is on the ballot? Is the previous status quo of Thaksin and his clones

looting the country somehow beneficial to Chuwit ? Maybe Thai people are right, farang

cannot understand " Thainess".......

LOL. What a prat. Another politician who is proud of making a fortune from criminal activities and admired for doing so. That is the sickness of Thai society.

He did not engage in a brawl - he was attacked by fascist animals and defended himself.

In defense of Chuwit if that is at all possible I am no fan of his - I think he is a perfect example of what is wrong with much of Thailand, but he came to vote and was attacked first - that is a fact that is not being reported by the Nation and conveniently not considered by many - He did nothing but walk down to vote and the men in black came running out whistle and all and attacked them. Normal Suthep Fascist supporter activity, to bad so many others don't have body guards to protect their rights. Oh I forgot earlier a Suthep a supporter on TV pointed out that rights are not real - just an idea spread by the west - Ha what was I thinking - they are Suthep supporters so it must be true.

While Thaksin is raping the country, minor parties in coalition are also ripping of their share. He has the luxury of he can side with Thaksin, or when all goes to custard steps back from the fall out.

He won't file a complaint?

Probably because he doesn't feel very " comfortable " when inside a police station .

He has the right to vote. <deleted>. What a country.

Sure everyone does.

From what I have been reading, it is about reform and stopping the "paid" voting system, which they feel is not fair. Their methods are probably crass because there are no compromises with the current govenment. Both sides seem to do what they feel "is neccessary"...regardless if we look down a longish farang noses and comment negatively.

I do not pick sides, not my place nor my country. Anybody that would read through some of the forums on Thai Visa would see that some kind of reform is needed.

I sympathize with both sides, the poor, and misinformed/uneducated, and the higher income people that want a say in the government.

Politician or no politician, I'd like to see how calm you remain the next time you go to vote and somebody blows a whistle into your ear (then punches you). I guess as you're on the side of the 'peaceful' protest, you would probably just stand Buddha-like and let him do as he liked?

Do you ever have a sympathetic word for anybody not on your particular side of the fence?

And by the way it's 'ASPIRATION' not 'inspiration'. Your knee-jerk posts should at least be literate.

god i love this man ! His campaigns speeches and shows are quite entertaining and even if he is as corrupt as any politician he is the only one who has the guts to speak openly about Chalerm son, police runed casinos, red bull heir....

Obviously he would be the best choice nowdays

It looked like some sort of group of Thai staff in the typical dark bush jacket type attire were ganging up on someone. It looked like Chuwit never got a swing in. At least the guy that went up against Chuwit had the character to go at him alone , whereas Chuwit needed his "staff." Thais love to gang up rather than have a good go single handed.

"At least the guy that went up against Chuwit had the character to go at him alone"

He had the "character" to attempt to stop an individual exercising his constitutional right to vote. Some admirable "character".

An election in which you can vote either for the government or Chuvit is democratic?cheesy.gif

Or you could vote for the candidates of any of the other parties that are standing.
