Win 7.. My Snipping Tool in Accessories has disappeared

Win 7.. My Snipping Tool in Accessories has disappeared. How to find / recover?

Should be located here - %windir%\system32\SnippingTool.exe

Then open C:\Users\Yourname\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories and paste a shortcut there.

If you use it often like I do than I recommend downloading and installing WinHotKey (free). You can then assign a key(s) to run SnippingTool or any other app. Very convenient and never have to go digging around for it anymore. In my case I assigned it to CTRL+F12 since the F12 is right next to the Print Screen button so easy to remember.

Download PicPick Portable. No installation required. It is free and better that the Snipping tool.

Place the folder anywhere you like. It even runs off a usb. can then use it on any computer.

I'd kill myself if sniping tool disappeared!!

I really hope you find it soon..

My thoughts are with you in this difficult time, I know how valuable a tool it is.

Click your start button and in the dialogue box type snipping tool. When it appears at the top of the screen, right click on it and choose "open file location." Now right click on snipping tool and choose copy. Now paste the shortcut onto your desktop.
