An older photo from a bar in KL (but the subject was from Thailand so I think she qualifies for this thread). The red lighting was from the bar lights - no photoshop - but I liked the exotic feel to the shot.

Chinese (or Korean) tourist, in Thailand. smile.png

Is that from the Tamron 90?

No . . nothing such grande. Here's the story behind that shot . . .

first take a look at this image . . . https://www.flickr.com/photos/moonboots69/16094712734/in/photostream/lightbox/

you see that rickety old bridge? well much earlier on the very same day, that girl was posing on it for someone (presumably her boyfriend/husband) and i was sitting at one of those restaurant tables you see on the left. Anyway's, my eyes darted . . my hands grabbed . . and the only thing i could use quickly before it was all over (for that distance) was my trusty birding cam - the Canon SX50. So i stole her pose from somebody else. I did shoot RAW though, so that helped the PP. smile.png

contemplating a purchase . . . smile.png

Your blue girl is amazing Goshawk. I love that photo. If it's possible I'd like to look at a more high-res version.

Thanks for sharing.smile.png

Thanks . . it was shot at night at high iso, and she was lit beautifully by the food cart alone . . .
