I bought a new 2013 Toyota Hilux and I was just looking through the documents I received and I can't seem to find a service log book ie. when they do a service usually they have a book which tells you what they do on each service, Is this normal or should I ask for it ?

When serviced they put in their official stamp and date it.

all they supply is a receipt which is in Thai and that says what they have done as normally there is a history service book which they stamp but my car does not have one

Are you sure I think you will find it's only on the computer no service book stamped but you could prove me wrong.

This might be something unique to Toyota Thailand as a mate of mine who has a ford has one

Agree, last Vigo I bought had a service card (like a credit card) which they read on the computer and added to after each service. Print out of service history was available if requested.

No 'service book' though.

Toyota don't supply service books with their vehicles nowadays (Vigo at least)

1 month/ 1000km service (oil change and check)

Thereafter regular servicing as per warranty requirements
