Never mind the Police, fit them anyway. One avoided accident is worth more to you than 300 Bht.. ive been through lots of checks with no caution , or fine. i really doo rate the things. The ones on Mrs Pops Accord are a bit OTT admittedly but legal, but i've stuck Phillips on my Civic , and happy i did.coffee1.gif .

The ones on the Accord are LED running light's in the same housing as the main beam they look good and are a safety feature. I think some people are mixed up with LED running light's and main beam light's. Main beam is for low light night time or heavy rain to give other's a visual.

Disagree John. Main beam should NEVER be used when there is other traffic within in sight ahead of you, either travelling in the same direction or coming towards....... and certainly should NOT be used in heavy rain. DIPPED beam should.

Agree the flashing of main beam can signal here in Thailand the same as using the horn. i.e. "I am approaching, have you seen me?" which indeed is also the correct usage in the UK.

Please read again Honda Accord in Thailand has now LED running light's housed in the same housing as the main beam.

As for using main beam it's either full or dipped common sense wouldn't you think.
