hansgruber Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 and there will be no jail for this guy... he got frustrated with the crap he was sold, asked for refund, didn't get it, took it (losing his patience / coolness), nobody got hurt, this is not a holdup.... he will be fined, and probably pay some extra to police, c'est tout....Wrong. He is a bum with no money, he will do gaol if the thai had to jail every tourist with no money who did something stupid/illegal, they'd have to annex laos to build more prisons... No body got hurt physically that is true, emotionally maybe. The staff said they did not have the authority to give him a refund and he would have to see the manager. The guy has threatened staff with a weapon and demanded cash. That is a laid down armed robbery. Just because no one was hurt physically it doesn't lessen the crime. The Thai ladies who work in 7/11 are on modest salaries and not tempted by easy money in the bars etc and do not need crazy people like this scaring them.
