Korat city bus routes (songthaew)

Featured Replies

I dont mind taking the local songthaew if I could just figgure out the routes.

I have been asking around like the village idiot today. But failed to find a map or any routes.

So looks like I have to learn it the hard way unless someone can help out.

Hello radon, I've been using them as my main mode of getting

Korat for 14+ years.

Unlike Pattaya, it's very easy to figure out what goes where with

some trial and error, mostly Bt.8 for oneway, some are more for

long routes.

Been on the #12(purple/2 white stripes,there is a #2 and #3 that

are purple with Different white stripes).

Where are you and where are you trying to go?

Downtown at Ya Mo/Crown Plaza II the has a stop with some #'s

on a sign, same up two sois and left by the market, 2 blocks down

from Korat Chef.

You have to ask them if they go to where you want to go, but simple

like The Mall, Big C, Mako, but also get a reliable tuk tuk/moto driver

phone number you can call to pick you up or take you home.

The old bus station, first R past the Y intersection(Hwy 224-Big C)

when your headed to downtown "from" The Mall/Lotus has song taos

and busses.
