“Middle-Eastern” man drowns off Pattaya Beach



PATTAYA: -- The body of a foreign man, thought to be of middle-eastern origin, was recovered off the waters of Pattaya Beach in the early hours of Sunday.

The body was first spotted floating face-down in the water, at the Northern-end to the Beach, by Khun Siwapon aged 32, who is currently on her Honeymoon in Pattaya. She was with her Husband and some friends on the beach enjoying a late-night picnic when she decided to walk along a Beach Boom which is currently being used to section-off a swimming zone at the Northern-end of Pattaya Beach.

As she walked along the boom she saw the body of the man floating face-down and alerted the authorities. Police arrived and inspected the man who was fully dressed and appeared not to have suffered any visible injuries.

Grisly find on ones honeymoon. It is strange he ended up in the water fully clothed.

Or maybe intoxicated...about the only way to drown in water only a meter deep or so.
