Korat

Featured Replies

Anyone been to Korat in Isaan region?

I had been to Korat twice in 2010 and 2012. Nice place. Korat was my fav place in Thai.

I know Korat fairly well.Don't forget to go to The Mall.A problem a lot of cars, traffic.I like taking walks around the center of town.

I also enjoy the night market.Supposely the 2nd to 3rd biggest city in Thailand. Some people say ChiangMai is the 2nd biggest.

Um ya really have to look at KhonKaen it seems to get more populated each time I go there.

Just over 3 hours from Bangkok by bus and villages well served by local buses. My in-laws live in a village about 100kms north of Korat and very peaceful. Korat itself has good shopping centres for all different types of products.

Yes, I have been in Korat.

Cant help feel like this is a bit like going onto a football forum to ask if anyone has ever been to a football match biggrin.png

But sod that Ill join in. Yes I have been to Korat, not the worst in Thailand I`ve been, not the best.

I live here!!!

HL

and me and my avatar, its lovely.

What is the OP's intention?

Are you coming back to Korat?

My home is Korat, although I don't spend as much time at home as I want to, due to work. You can enjoy Village life and City life within a stones throw of each other.
