Karon police car smashes into parked vehicles in Patong

Featured Replies

Obviously, after looking very careful at the pictures, the silver Honda City was obstructing the road and there was absolutely no way for the police car to avoid the silver Honda City.

As the driver of the Honda City left his vehicle if freerun, the Honda City started to drive backwards, hitting the other vehicles.

Thus the driver of the Honda City will be fined for obstructing the road and hitting a lot of vehicles while driving backwards.

Case closed.

Those long, industrious days at the office can be very tiring.

Collect fines and tea money since noon turns out to be pretty exhausting

And spending it until midnight.......

I wonder what his Blood Alcohol test showed? What, they didn't test him right after the accident? I'm shocked!

"the officer who caused the crash will be subject to the legal process." Is he going to pay himself 500 baht? Never get out of the boat, never leave police station. All he wanted was a mango pie....

probably pissed out of his head, on duty, nothing new here !

That would be my submission especially at that time of the morning.

Kathu police learned that the driver fell asleep as he passed Patong Hospital. How could they possibly know exactly where he dropped off? HE wouldn't know.

"Pol. Lance Corp. Tanusorn Jaikaeng, who is an investigation assitant at Karon Police Station." looks like he has a lot to answer for.

"All the damaged cars and motorbikes were taken to Kathu Police Station." - why Kathu, as Patong police station was just down the road. Wonder when the owners will see their cars again ?

Because Tambol Patong is in Amphoe Kathu.

Question remains, why not to Patong policestation?

There is NO Patong Police station, the one in Patong is Kathu police station. Patong is in Kathu.

There is NO Patong Police station, the one in Patong is Kathu police station. Patong is in Kathu.

That might be technically correct but there is a police station in Patong, and there is another police station in Kathu. Patong is a Tambon, Kathu is the Amphur. Amphur trumps Tambon every time. But I will still think that the police station located in Patong as Patong police station.

So the one in Patong is Kathu policestation, and the one in Kathu is Kathu policestation?

Hmmmm

When I saw the headline I thought they had found a new way to deal with illegal parking.

Much easier than clamping them!
