PATTAYA: -- 31 shots were fired at a house owned by a Pub Security Guard in the early hours of Friday which resulted in a hand injury to the owners sick mother, who was asleep at the time.

Khun Surachat aged 34, who works as a Guard at the Seed Pub in Central Pattaya, received an urgent call to return home just after 5am after family members at the house reported the shooting and had already taken the owners elderly and sick mother aged 67 to Hospital after she sustained a gunshot wound to her hand.

At the house in Soi Chayapornviti in East Pattaya the owner was told by other family members and neighbors that 4 men on 2 motorbikes arrived at the front of the house and began shooting. A total of 31 spent bullet casings were found and damage was sustained to the front of the house and the front rooms. Khun Yong aged 67 was sleeping in one of the front bedrooms when the shooting occurred.

Damn, there's a lot of guns knocking around in Thailand nowadays and it seems to be the answer to every problem. Time for a crackdown on gun ownership and some proper penalties for once.

Sorry I had to laugh, although this is serious business... Feel sorry for grandma, she had nothing to do with it!

Yes, it seems that the solution to almost every problem is guns (American example?)

4 men with minimal 4 guns fired 31 shots and only damaged the door and the house a bit; grandma was obviously collateral damage... I hate guns and will never have one, but these guys are unbelievable amateurs. cheesy.gif

Maybe grandma can take 31 shots at them, as compensation. That would be absolutely great and swift justice whistling.gif

Why not lock these two gangs up in a room, and let them shoot it out. Im sure most of the members would start crying.

Pattaya turning into east LA... first I thought "oh russkie mafia giving a lesson to a non loan payer" but then it's thai's this time.... no word on a motive here...

oops - i guess I should have rread the article first...yes - pub guard breaks up a fight and his house shot up by both gangs? ouch... hope granny is ok and nobody was killed is lucky after 31 bullets

Sorry for yai.

And of course these gunmen would like to kindly ask something from this very peaceful and honest guard. But the please, please didn't help.

I don't think this must to be some money or drug.

This is what I would term a 'Spray & Pray' Shooting.

Thankfully , none of these Retards are Trained.

Hope the Victim is OK . There are Many types of Head wounds. Let's hope this was a 'glance'

East L A , East Cleveland . Now we have East Pattaya.

Time for a 'Crackdown' headline . It is obvious the last couple on firearms missed one or two.

Too much violence...amazing how the tourism stays so strong. Probably false sense of security that tourist areas are strictly controlled.

31 Bullits fired and only a gunshot wound to the hand. Not exactly a professional hit.

So did pointing at the bullet holes help finding the shooter?
