A pretty good summary of the meanings. It can mean any of the above. You have sift and sort every request.

As in my case "taking care of someone else" isn't so bad if there is satisfying reciprocity.

Its not only in the farang slang. I have heard all the time with Thais that do not have any relation with a farang.
