You might want to give us a hint where you are located and if you want to go first to Singapore and then to Penang? Or are you just asking how to travel from Singapore to Penang? Or is this perhaps a visa run and you are asking about travel to Singapore or Penang? Also is cost a factor? Is travel time a factor?

Dear Friends,

1) I will come to singapore on 7th.

2) Would like to go penang on 9th June.

3) YES I am just asking how to travel from Singapore to Penang?

I don't want to go by Bus and don't knw whether can go by Sea or not.

YES TIME IS THE FACTOR as I left the next day From penang to Bangkok.

But still I love to know is it is possible to go by sea 1/2 hours there.

Penang is approximately 700 kilometers from Singapore by road, probably farther if traveled by sea. Sea is not a viable option. Fly AirAsia from JB. Barring that, Singapore Airlines flies direct from Changi but they will be much more pricy.

Believe you will have to use air or train service. The train would be go to Kuala Lumpur first and then to Butterworth/Penang and you would have to check if connections could be made on the same day.

You can make that connection in KL on the same day, but the journey is really a haul by train. You leave Singapore at 13:05, arrive KL Sentral at 19:28, connect to the Langkawi Ekspres departing at 20:45, arriving Butterworth the following morning at 06:05.
