I have a question, thx girls in soapy massage aka brothel are they safer than street hookers?

1- Do they get tested like their brothel claim or its just bullshit

2- And if customer didnt want to use a condom ,will they accept ?

3- And if they were infected ,do they use their meds to reduce the viral load so she doesnt spread hiv and be healthier ?

1. Even if a brothel/soapy has a policy of requiring periodic testing, it's unlikely to be enforced in a rigorous manner for the simple reason there's almost zero risk of liability on the business's part if one of their girls infects a customer (first of all good luck to a john determining which girl it was that did him in in the first place). And medical test certificates can be made to order without too much trouble in these parts.

So, I wouldn't go by a piece of paper shown to me in a whorehouse no matter how good it looks.

2. Thankfully most sex workers in Thailand are pretty insistent on condoms. But there are a couple of scenarios, typically, in which they may make an exception: (1) the guy's a regular and they "trust" him (2) an irresistible offer is made.

So, if the question is if the girl you are with insists on a condom can you conclude that she always has safe sex, the answer is no.

3. You've got to be kidding. HIV is basically the end of the world (though medically it no longer is) for the gal (or guy). Altruism isn't exactly going to be at the top of their minds. Survival and making as much as they can before they have to quit will be. So you figure out how they will behave (and don't blame them).

I've suspected as much for years. All the girls in the farang bars I've long thought HIV rates run about 20+%. The farang have sex with ladyboys, bargirls do condomless porn, men pay xtra for sex sans condoms, the influx of south asians and mena. The sex workers run around the country and follow the work and seasons.

A sex worker would have zero issue continuing to work until so ill that no one eants them.

Old farang routinely have sex with women who will have them sans condom. They cant keep it up otherwise. I've heard more than once...what do I care, I'm old and blah blah blah.

Even the better Thai brothel/clubs I bet the rates are 10%+.

The Thai women that are totally spent head for Hat Yai and catch the weekend ttaffic up.from Malaysia. There used to be all sorts of hiv horror posters on the border. Tjrse women might not all be sick, they can.be simply old, fat and or spent. Maybe never so attractive to begin.with.

Having sex here has been for decades a death wish.

The whole gay scene is very grimy and secretive. I bet rates are 30% among workers and half that among farang.

Food for thought gents:

You know that nice girl you met on chat/Internet dating site...

More than likely a huge share of these women are hookers as well, if even part time.

Many women put in a weekend to supplement income. I used to live in a bldg full of them.

The women in Pattaya and Patong are smart too. They know better than to list those cities as home.

They are 35 and spent...grabbing a farang doesn't look so bad while their looks are fading fast.

Do you think that people will go around saying they are HIV positive, within days the whole of their friends would know

This is all you are going to do to respond to the topic?

The face issue keeps disclosure way below what you would find in other countries, which is very low anyhow. Thais simply dont discuss it or acknowledge the problem due to social embarrassment. That makes things here very risky.

It's almost impossible for a male to catch HIV while having unprotected heterosexual sex with an infected female.

But he can easily catch gonorrhea, hepatitis or chlamydia with unprotected sex,

Or herpes with protected sex.

"Almost impossible?" What are you talking about? It's very possible! It's like playing Russian roulette. The fastest growing type of HIV infection in the world is heterosexual sex, not gay sex. Why would anyone want to have sex with a prostitute without a condom? It's like getting down on your knees in the Bangkok street and drinking water from a smelly puddle. You're going to get infected with something and get sick eventually, even if you don't get sick the first time. You are so foolish to be spreading this misinformation here about HIV transmission. Would you like to share your scientific references that show it's "almost impossible" for a male to catch HIV from unprotected sex with an HIV+ female? Are you smoking some kind of drugs? The actual fact is the opposite of what you say. HIV infection from unprotected heterosexual sex is nowadays the MOST COMMON way that HIV spreads worldwide.

"Since doctors first reported the outbreak of a mysterious new disease in 1981, an estimated 900,000 Americans have been diagnosed with AIDS. Nearly half of them were men who had sex with other men, 27 percent were IV-drug users, and another 7 percent were both. But the politically incorrect truth is rarely spoken out loud: The dreaded heterosexual epidemic never happened.

Straight men and women make up 90 percent of the population, but they account for only 15 percent of non-childhood AIDS cases. Only 6 percent of men with AIDS, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says, contracted the virus from straight sex. And even that figure doesn't hold up to a closer look. Several studies now suggest that most men who claim they got the virus this way are lying. They got it from sex with other men or sharing needles with addicts. Those studies also show that many women listed in the straight-sex category are either IV-drug users themselves or have likely contracted AIDS from sex with an IV drug user.

Health officials have known these things for years. A growing pile of federally funded reports on HIV transmission, published over the past decade and available to anyone who has the time to read them, shows that men almost never get HIV from women. In fact, according to a 1998 study in the Journal of the American Medical Association, a disease-free man who has an unprotected one-nighter with a drug-free woman stands a one in 5 million chance of getting HIV. If he wears a condom, it’s one in 50 million. He’s more likely to be struck by lightning (one in 7000,000).

Female to male transmission is very inefficient, says Dr. Nancy Padian a professor in the department of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive science at the University of California, San Francisco and the author of a 1996 10 year study of HIV infected heterosexual couples, the nation's longest and largest. She points out that “its two to three times easier for men to infect women.” But even so, if there are no other risk factors involved, the rate at which an infected man will transmit the virus to a woman is one in 1,100 sex acts."

I've been having regular unprotected sex with 'high risk' females for 6 years in Thailand, caught nothing so far.

(Not so much these days, age 60 and losing interest in sex workers)

One of my pals estimates having sex with more than 400 prostitutes over the last 4 years, he's caught nothing so far.

(We are both regularly tested for almost everything)

thats some conspiracy-type website with an axe to grind.

as for the odds, they are with you. however, the longer you play your odds go down substantially, its not one in a million (using an example) each time.

read a story about just such a guy who was in denial in thailand and eventually started getting flu type stuff he could not shake. ended up going back to the uk to use the healthcare system. he still denied aids existed even as he lay in the hospital dying.

Sorry but I think you are wrong here. If its almost impossible to get HIV why can you easily get hepatitis? You catch both of them via blood to blood.

No these guys are probably smart and only not use a condom if the girl looks clean.

Also if the wash with the bum gun it will also stop STD's.

Hepatitis is much more virulent than HIV.

I will assume you are talking about HCV as there is a Vaccine for Hep B.

Hep C is 10 times more infections then HIV when comparing blood to blood transmission.

This still doesn't make HIV almost impossible to get via unprotected boning. If you get a small cut or anything on your Johnson or even from doing a bit of shaving.. and she Juices on you.. I wouldn't call it impossible.

As a footnote, in our tiny village in Isaan we get 2 -3 women coming back every year to benefit from free health care in their Amphoe. Ugly as sin. On top of that they apparently knew nothing at all about STDs, my wife once took one girl to hospital when she realised what was going on.

We also had two girls die of the big disease with a little name, both refusing treatment out of shame even though the whole village knew about it.

STD's education here.. I think its against the law as know one knows anything about it.

Have been told by Thai girls that if you use the bum gun after not using a condom you will not get pregnant. I think it works as I have not been pregnant as of yet.
