Hi all,
Living and working in Phuket, on a current Non B, needs renewal. Have all company documents and WP. Tdont want to go to Penang, have friends in Phnom Penh, but cant find any current info if PP is issuing Non Immigrant B Visa's or not??
Can anybody confirm?

Any advice appreciated...
PS- If anybody also knows the truth behind the rumour that Penang requires a minimum of 8 months validity on WP to issue 1 year non b visa's?
Thanks ya'all

The Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh has a reputation for being both unfriendly — yours truly was hung up on twice while writing this post — and alternately strict and permissive regarding visas.

Ok thank you Sirchai,
Seems like nobody has actually done a non-B in Cambodia for a few years... at least not posted the experience.
I ess that makes me the guinea pig lol... hopefully they will issue a 1 year multi entry, but that's probably wishful thinking.

The only place you can get multiple entry non-b is Penang with a work permit that has 7 or 8 months left on it.

A single entry non-b is a possibility in PP but I am not sure what their requirements are.

You will need to use an agent or it will take about 4 days to get.

Please post a quick report or send a private message to me about your experience -- thumbs up or down will suffice. I am in the same situation and prefer to go to PP.

Good luck!

Actually its 9 months validity on your work permit... that's part of my problem I only have 6 months left on my WP. My friend is in Penang now on a visa run...and asked the embassy about this... they confirmed 9 months, not 7 or 8 as everybody seems to think
