A belated thanks to Lance and Tom for their efforts in providing a superb venue from which to enjoy Ubon's Songkran festivities. Being only two doors up from the Laithong Hotel in Ubon, it was as central as could be, and being purveyors of quality foods there was no shortage of grub.

All the regulars were there, Big John, "Skid" Rod, "Gobby Jock" Bob, "Floppy Knob" Bob, "Gerbil" Jason, Mike the Inventor, (who's kids galvanised the bar into festive action,) "Cigar" Dave, "Admiral" Ken, "Upper Cut" Noi, and a particularly decent, pleasant, chap named Chris, I think it was.

I thought their idea of providing a Soap-Sud machine right outside the bar was especially good and provided endless fun - brilliant!!
