Good restaurant for gift certificates in Lak Si?

My employer took me on vacation with their family. I want to thank them for their generosity with a gift certificate to a restaurant in the Lak Si or Chatuchak area. My budget is 1000 baht (I'm not rich, but it's the thought that counts). Any suggestions? I know they especially like steak places... Thanks

Hmmm... that's not much of a budget for a steak dinner for a family but.... I know of a small Italian/Thai fusion restaurant that is near Rajpreuk Golf Course. It's on Ngam Wong Wan 47 Yaek 39. You can look at the area by searching "North Park Bangkok" on google maps. It's not far from the roundabout near the golf course.

Another idea... there is an amazing cake bakery called Laliette on Viphavadi16 (Ratchadaphisek19). A gift certificate there might be cool. Their cakes are truly amazing...

Not sure if either of these place of gift certificates, but you can probably work something out.
