How much has your cost of living increased over 10 years?

I'm sure like me when you first arrived here you probably paid more for things than was necessary? But overall how much has your cost of living increased in 10 years, for the basics? Once you got settled in to your routine and learned your way around how much has the cost of living increased in ten years?

I don't want this to be another "How much to live in Thailand" thread but more a look at inflation in your area in real terms. If you have been in the same rental how much has rent increased? How about electricity, how much has the cost per unit increased in 10 years? Food, taxi, gas, cable etc....

Just to keep this civil and not a pissing contest we can use %'s of increase.

I understand lifestyles change and priorities may be different so overall spending may shift from entertainment to diapers, but the basic inflation cost for your area. Also what area are you in?

No need to give us exchange rates from home country to Thai Baht history as that is not part of the question.

Thanks for your input.

Must be around 50% compared to 10 years ago, just speaking about cars, gasoline, shopping, electricity,

clothing, school fees, etc.

Got an (unasked for, bec not for sale)12 000 000฿ offer for my place I've built 10 years ago for

4 500 000฿... price of land went up nearly 200%, ok, not dark Issan..., but also not BKK...
