My friend is arriving from the UK tomorrow at swampy at around 6pm.

We have to drive down to pick him up, then we are heading straight to Pattaya for the weekend before coming up to Korat on Monday.

With the current political climate, I was wondering how that is likely to affect the roads down to BKK?

I know there is 'supposed' to be a load of reds on there way down there for a rally on Saturday, and now Suthep has called a mass Rally for tomorrow.

Normally it takes only 3 hours for me to get from Korat to swampy.... But now I am unsure how early to leave... We have to make some deliveries up to 11am tomorrow before we are freed up to travel... Would you recommend I leave at this time... or do you think 7 hours may still be a bit late?

Anyone noticed any particularly heavy/heavier traffic on the Korat/BKK roads?
