korat lawyer for chanote problem needed.urgent.

Featured Replies

we, korat hubby and i, have been working on this chanote since 2009 when it was still possible to change family worked rice land to chanote. we paid, did all the paperwork, was told to wait a month, there are no problems, then someone in the village contested the border of the land... since then, nothing has been done.

hubby went yesterday or today, and was told again ' wait, lost of poeple'. .. i know i know TIT but ive noticed that others ahve been able to get their chanote requests processed (their wives, of course) in a much much shorter time period.

i think my husband has no patience to wait, no skill in dealing with beurocracy (i am really good at that ) and kind of just asks and goes... i am thinking to 'dress office', maybe go with my thai sis in law as a buffer, and try to get a better picture of what the problem is (extra expenses money? lost the papers money?) ...

AND/OR

get a consultation with a lawyer in korat city or soeng seang town, (even one that doesnt have major english but at least hubby can communicate with him/her) in a week from now... as i will be in korat area only from 23 may until 5 of june. hubby will be there longer.

recommendations? ideas? not looking for major bombastic offices but someone who is knowlegable and trustworthy for people that live overseas ....pm me if u dont want to post here..

how much do consultations in thailand cost? .

and if needed, continued processing wiht a POA since we both will be back in israel.

the importance of the land is more symbolic for my husband, it is a very small plot, parents 'gave' it to us as a wedding gift (they are old fashion old timer issaan, no papers etc), but it gives my husband a sense of security if something were to happen here, since here we dont own anything at all, and he wont have anywhere to be if i were to drop dead tomorrow. (kibbutz is an interesting organism in that respect)..

Google Isaan lawyer.They have office in Korat,speak fluent english and fees are reasonable;
