soalbundy
What on earth motivates Chalerm and his buddies to chase the guy? He is not a PDRC leader. He does/did not preach breaking laws. What about the movieclips of Jatuporn asking protestors to bring bottles with oil to burn down bangkok? Why not chase that guy? If needed I hope the King will pardon him and allow him to stay and thus be able to take care of his mother longer. Do the sods see it as a success if they can get Satish extradicted, what didn't succeed before? How miserable can people be? Did The Gazette still not fire Chalerm? I read he will only accept verdicts from the Constitutional Court if they are published in The Gazette. Someone please deport Chalerm and his buddies. Give them free tickets to Dubai. Then later when more important business is done can start trying go get them back to Thailand for facing the courts and (the missunderstood fugitive) serve jailtime. Simple,he is a soft easy target, arresting him would at least be a success story,we finally managed to arrest someone

Piichai
a large number of Silom residents came out to protect him by blocking the police vehicles from moving in Saved by neighbors; how rich. Turns out the paratroopers were not as elite as we were led to believe. This event is a good indication of how far PTP has fallen; simple people leaving the comfort of their homes and rushing into the streets to stop injustice. Strangebrew
He wasn't running away he had some curry cooking. As far as Amsterdam he should be jailed hung and them given bail.
aussieinthailand
So he is a leader because he appeared on their stage....Once I believe. The Mrs was on their stage once also I wonder if her name is on the list. The next target would have to be the foreign leader who appeared on the red stage, but that dosent count as the reds are only threatening civil war and separatism. Hay, if someone can be arrested for resurrection then some of the red posters on here are in trouble. Hey Robby nz, you may want to remember that their was a "red" Aussie supporter in 2010 that was goaled for 89 day's and deported, so yeah man it dose count and dose happen. Cheers cuz

geriatrickid
poor satish, even if they don't get him today or tomorrow, he is basically under a type of house arrest, the silly dumbass should have known better We'll be looking forward to seeing Amsterdam deported as well. didn't know he was in Thailand. he is ? There are several people who told he was on the red stage. There was 1 who told he was on the red stage per video. So I don't know if he was really here I don't doubt that you don't know. Robby nz
Liked the bit about "heavily armed" Why would they send a large squad of heavily armed special forces to attempt to capture a 60 odd year old Indian man in his home who has never in his life had a history of violence or use of weapons of any sort. And fail. Enough to drive the boss of Capo to drink........................er, oh yes, to late.
johnthompson
So instead of arresting the residents that obstructed the police, they just decided to call it a day? You can literally do anything in this country with impunity
fab4
a core leader Sathit Wongnontoei then sent message on Blue Sky Channel asking all PDRC supporters to show up in full force to intercept the arrest. Academics are the first target to be eliminated by the regimes whose support is strongly based on the ignorance of people.

Get the point? Aren't you getting the two westerners who featured in the media coverage mixed up? Conor David Purcell, who claimed to have a military background, criticized the rules of engagement used by the Thai army. Jeff Savage, from the UK, was caught on video saying he was going to burn down Central World. One has to say that the usual TVF suspects, who disparage the 'uneducated' rural Thais (the 'kwai' as they call them), don't always come across as the sharpest tools in the box when it comes to recalling recent history.
