Heading to the Big Smoke (BKK) tomorrow and have heard that their may be some road closures around Don Mueang... Living up North, we don't tend to get all the details in the news, but my work colleague who is also heading there in the next few days was advised to change his flight to fly with Thai Air to avoid Don Mueang...

Any up to date info would be appreciated!

I missed my flight from Don Mueang yesterday because of the road blocks. I took a taxi from silmon to Don Mueang leaving myself 1&1/2 hours to get there. All was going well until about 5km away from the airport when the traffic came to a standstill! By the time i arrived it was too late. Being stuck in a taxi for nearly 2 hours and missing my flight wasn't much fun!
