Hi, I've just got my 1st 5 year licence and the Mrs noticed the house number is wrong. It was a 3 day rigmarole at DLT to get it so am lacking the willpower to return!

For my 1st year provisional, I had it checked once at a police road check (& failed to get Thai entrance costs), no other use.

I quite like the idea of a different address if pulled over by one of the bent police reported on here but want to avoid any repercussions if checks are ever made to passport/Immigration.

Anyone had any dealings with using the address on their DL or having it checked? Thanks.

Not wrong address mine say's I'm 10 years younger than what I am.

Now on my 3rd 5year one never had a problem. I have told them every time I renew but they just say no problem it ok you Farang.

I've like being 10 years younger anyway.

Yes, the advantage is you can use it for ID at a hotel and she won't know where to find you.
