Just to let people know. It was smooth as silk. 24 numbers ahead of me, took 20 minutes. No address requested.

Official gave me stamped paperwork in 2 minutes.

Why do these self satisfied people always feel the need to tell everyone this?

What are you now going to do with the rest of your day now that the highlight of it is over?

Yeah, what's the big deal? I never have to wait longer than 5 minutes to do my 90 days, can't see why 20 minutes is anything to crow about.

I think it is nice to know. I remember another thread when whiners went on and on about address proof for a marriage visa when the thread was about retirement visas. Any opportunity to complain is heralded as important as the second coming while the good news and efficient is swept under the carpet. So Bravo to the OP.

And sure no reason to complain if someone reports about the situation at Chaeng Wattana that has been reopened yesterday (there is a separate topic on that).

If memory serves me well, not every time things run so smooth at Jomtien immigration.

Of course it is deep low season, so one can expect quick service.

Peace and love and we have smooth sailing in this thread.

It wasn't a complaint, it was not bragging,.I read posts during the start of the Coup where people were concerned about numerous issues.

As the post started it was just to let people know that things are normal .

Some of the negative responses are most certainly from those of you who cannot read, or simply are cynical

in their daily lives about everyone and everything. I wish I could help you out, but only you yourselves can do that! Good Luck.

Kudos to guzzi850m2 and thailiketoo

take no notice. I found the post very useful as it confirms the lack of requirement for addresses, passport copies etc., which was a subject of major debate on another forum. Thanks pal. My last visit took 2 minutes as there was no queue and I had pre filled the form.

Do you suppose I'll get it in the neck now?

I don't think he said anything about passport copies, did he?

I have just returned from my first ever 90 day report at Jomtien and was asked for copy passport main page, TM6 and stamp of entry and copy of visa/extension. For some reason I forgot the last one and asked if I needed to go and get a copy and the guy said "no problem, just bring next time". I was not asked at all for proof of address.

Edit - and of course the original form which like you I had pre filled.

I'm wondering who's worse - the fact you posted here on this thread tells me something about your days and how well spent they are

The OP was sharing his happy experience - what's your excuse

Maybe because it was your first time. Perhaps they need the original arrival card to set up your record on their computer.
