World Naked Bike Ride To Hit London This Weekend (NSFW PICTURES)

UK NEWS

Sara C Nelson | 13/06/2014

London will be a sea of undulating flesh on wheels this weekend – as the World Naked Bike Ride hits the capital.

With sweltering temperatures making the UK officially hotter than Brazil, there’s no better reason to strip off and join the fun – and it's all in the name of a decidedly noble cause.

Cyclists are going bare to protest against oil dependency and car culture in the annual worldwide event, which draws to an end in the UK in Clacton on 19 July.

Forget about the men, Mr Trans, but I would be glad to be there to witness it.

Specially if the road is a little bumpythumbsup.gif

Almost every kind of aggravating exhibitionist folly now justifies itself by claiming it's done for 'a good cause' or for charity.

For every eye candy there will likely be 10 sights you wish you never saw. That's your benefit to risk ratio.

I remember saying the exact same thing to some crazy hardcore environmentalist when I lived in San Francisco. He got so pissed when I had to remind him that a significant portion of bicycles are made with petroleum.

Tires, inner-tubes, brakes, brake cables, reflectors, handle bar grips as well as the machinery used to bend the metal an weld the metal frame together uses petroleum. Also those rubber parts on bikes need to be replaced more often over the same amount of distance a car travels.

He was puzzled because I'm a cyclist myself, yet I love cars too.

That said, I support nude bike rides because I'm a nudist.
