June 22, 201412 yr The speed that the truck was travelling can be assessed by on-site investigators ... and I suspect that the outcome would be that the truck driver should be facing several counts of causing death by dangerous reckless driving...!! Edited June 22, 201412 yr by GeorgeO
June 22, 201412 yr Popular Post Since nobody that died was related to the 'authorities', then nobody will care.
June 22, 201412 yr Another one. Driver probably asleep, or nearly so, brick on the throttle - here we go again ...
June 23, 201412 yr The article I read reported that the driver of the lorry fled the scene. Presumably the owner and the driver of the vehicle can be tracked through the registration. When the driver is found he should be imprisoned for a very long period and have his license revoked for ever. Oh dear, just dreaming again - a slap on the wrist, don't do it again and a 200THB fine is more likely.
June 23, 201412 yr Apart from the ever evident dumb ignorance of far too many Thai drivers, use of 'on', as opposed to 'in', is either use of the wrong preposition, or yet again, passengers were sitting/standing in the bed of the pick-up truck.
June 24, 201412 yr But, but....on my way to pick up my load I was doing that speed around that curve, why shouldn't I do the same speed on the way back? Besides, I have a truck. It's worth more than those cars. They should make way for me. Edited June 24, 201412 yr by Seastallion
