Hard to tell,it has 1950 ish drop down screen but current style front wings n lights.

^^^ Looks like part Karman Ghia & part Chevy Corvair!

The first red car is a pretty stock VW Type 3 Karmann Ghia , probably sitting high up with no motor ,

it is a rare car now, but 1000s were built in the 60s in Germany,

There are a lot less old cars than even 5 years ago sitting around BKK, mostly old Mercedes which I guess everyone who owns one wants the bragging rights of owning one, even if it has been rotting for 10 years sitting on the street.

GM....I own 2 LR Defenders both 110's & TDi for both. My "old" one is a 1994 while the

new one is a 2005 ex SAS raiding vehicle...ex Afghanistan via a great dealer in the UK.

This one looks like a Series III (3) which was launched in 1971 and made until 1985 when

the "Defenender" line took over. The Series III's are a very good vehicle and this one looks

in great shape. Do you know if it's 4 Sale?!

Sure seen a few Daewoo cars with Honda or Toyota stickers, even chrome badges, maybe can understand that, some people have no idea on car makes..

Second hand cars in Thailand are very expensive, I bought it 35.000 baht = 700 euros when the euro was strong ...

Pity I did not have a camera handy was doing odd jobs in my garden, in the Village yesterday was a white guy driving a old Land Rover on UK plates 'C' reg.. so about 1984

He drove down got out and took some boxes into a house near the end, if I can remember will ask the Thai guy about it when I see him as he speaks perfect English
