Over the last four weeks I have been receiving at least 8 calls each day to my True mobile number, the numbers calling look like mobile numbers and all start with 08. When I answer, the person calling is talking Thai and is talking far too fast for me to pick up on anything being said. After a moment or two and they realise I don't understand them hand up. Minutes later another one of these 08 numbers will call again with the same outcome. To date I have 37 individual numbers listed on my phone from these types of calls. I have had Thai friend call the numbers back and also take the call and tell the caller to remove my number. This has not worked either.

I have called True and they have told me they can do nothing about these calls as they are from AEON call centre looking to sell products or to follow up with me for payment of my credit card (I have no credit card with AEON or any Thai institution). The best solution they could offer was to call the AEON main number and ask them to rectify the situation. I have called their number many times without being able to get through to a real person at AEON. At times when I call there is no English version, other times there is the option to select English and when selected the automated voice is Thai.

Completely frustrated I have been to the AEON branch at Big C and the manager there told me they would have my number removed from their listing at the call centre.

All has been fine for the last 3 days. This morning dead on 8 am the calls started again, now going 1030 am and 5 call already. Anyone on TV have a direct number to AEON where I can reach a real person to sort these calls out?

Can you phone block numbers?

You have already 37 numbers, don't know how many lines they have but maybe you have most of the numbers?

Yes have blocked all the numbers. New numbers this morning and confirmed by True they are AEON call centre numbers. Can call the numbers back and get a Thai automated message.
