Then there is always the classic:

From a great album, very beautiful but sad songs , and this is just one of them .

Another track from The ghost of Tom Joad.

This is , i feel , one of the most beautiful and sad pieces of music and yet it also is a song of hope and redemption for those misfits like myself . This is piece of music that i hope will be played at my funeral as i disappear though the final curtains.

This bitter earth
Well, what fruit it bears
Ooooh, This bitter earth

And if my life is like the dust
oooh that hides the glow of a rose
What good am I
Heaven only knows

Lord, this bitter earth
Yes, can be so cold
Today you're young
Too soon, you're old
But while a voice within me cries
I'm sure someone may answer my call
And this bitter earth
Ooooh may not
Oh be so bitter after all

This bitter earth
Lord, This bitter earth

What good is love
Mmmm that no one shares
And if my life is like the dust
Oooh that hides the glow of a rose

What good am I
Heaven only knows

One of the Boss's most moving songs in my opinion

Have you visited the Ladies Forum for out undying love for Bruce? Men are invited, It's called For Sheryl.

Lots of looks at.

Tom Rush was great at evoking images of the vast open spaces of America and lovers far apart, always loved this one

Got a bit of the wow tears flowing. Lovely, actually does go with my Jim Croce bit.

Patsycat, visiting the Ladies forum would be akin to entering the ladies toilet, an unacceptable intrusion. But it has to be said Sheryl is a wonderful lady, helping many with her medical advice.

Who remembers this tune from Harry's Game about Northern Ireland? Reminding us wars bring only losses and pain.

The old laughing lady,,who was she? Drink or drugs perhaps.

This version is as good as the original Son House version - Death Letter.

This one breaks my heart that women could be treated so badly in the name of the Christ
